Team
Andrew began his culinary career as a kitchen porter at 14, later working alongside the legendary Marco Pierre White. He rose to Chef Director, appeared on shows like Hell’s Kitchen and World on a Plate, and led award-winning teams around the globe. Most recently, he headed up The English House in Singapore. Now, he brings his passion for simple, beautiful food to The Travellers Rest.
We visited the Travellers Rest today with friends and all I can say is ‘wow’ we had the most amazing tasty and beautifully presented food complimented by a fabulous team, if you haven’t visited yet do so soon an absolute gem of a place 100% recommended.
Our Location
We’re lucky to be surrounded by stunning countryside – perfect for a pre- or post-pub walk. Our beer garden boasts beautiful views and plenty of space to relax. Dogs are welcome throughout the pub, and we even have a special “Pooches Menu” just for them. Ask our team for local walking route suggestions – there’s no better way to explore the area.
